Shixian Shao

With a strong foundation in visual communication and fashion system design, Shixian Shao is a cross-disciplinary designer adept at crafting brand narratives. She excels in creative direction and styling execution across both digital and physical platforms, demonstrating a keen ability to transform concepts into resonant and impactful design strategies.

Her experience spans from Shanghai Fashion Week to creative direction for lookbooks and styling for numerous e-commerce and editorial shoots. As an Assistant Fashion Designer, she has illustrated technical flats and built tech packs for seasonal womenswear lines. Her work as a Jewelry Designer for Octovita involved designing seasonal collections, complete with theme research and 3D prototyping.

Educated at Donghua University in Shanghai and currently pursuing her M.A. in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano, Shixian's work is informed by a deep understanding of brand communication, fashion sustainability, and cultural innovation. She seeks to leverage her skills in creative teams focused on styling and fashion branding.
